On October 19th, the Board of Directors approved plans to install a new playscape in Sun Chase Park on the site of the former playscape that was removed several years ago due to disrepair. The new playscape is being custom built to blend with the natural elements of the park and will feature a central treehouse surrounded by natural playscape elements.

On March 20, 2020, in response to hardships caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, the WTC MUD #1 Board of Directors voted to place a moratorium on late fees and water disconnects for non-payment of bills. Residents, please note that this moratorium will be lifted beginning June 13, 2021. Late fees will be applied to June bills, and service disconnects for past due accounts will begin in July. If you are past due, please visit https://www.wtcmud1.org/bill-payment-information to pay your bill, or contact Inframark at csaus@inframark.com or 512-246-0498 to set up a payment plan in order to avoid service interruption.
A basic service fee discount is available for seniors 65 years of age and older. Please send a copy of your driver’s license to csaus@inframark.com in order to receive this discount on your next billing statement. At the time of this post, the discount is $6.57 (a reduction to $18.43 from $25.00). The exact discount amount varies based on changes to the standard service fee.
Due to the winter storm in February, meter readings were not obtainable and water use averaging was applied to all accounts for the month of February. In March, all accounts that were over-averaged were adjusted accordingly to reflect current readings and an automatic credit was issued to the account to correct any averaging overage. This is just a notice: no action is needed at this time. The following Contractual Service rates have increased: Fire Protection has increased from $24.97 to $26.25 – Effective 4/1/2021 Trash, Recycling, Bulk Services have increased from $18.12 to $18.96 – Effective 5/1/2021 (for Seniors $15.95 to $16.69) Details regarding these services and rates are outlined in the district rate order located on the district website here: https://www.wtcmud1.org/documents

Our landscaping company is still working its way through the District to collect tree limbs that fell during the storm. Brush and tree limb cleanup throughout the District parks will begin on Friday, March 5. As early as Saturday, March 6, brush and tree limb pick-up will begin in residential areas. Any limbs or brush that are to be picked up must be placed at or near the street for the crew to pick up (please avoid blocking the street and/or sidewalk). We do not have a designated timeframe for pick-up on specific streets or for specific addresses, however, this is a District-wide residential clean-up effort for all streets.
