Water Conservation

**Recent rains have boosted the combined storage in Lake Buchanan and Lake Travis to more 1.1 million acre-feet, which allows the City of Cedar Park to move to a two-day-per-week outdoor watering schedule referred to as the City’s Stage 2 in alignment with the Lower Colorado River Authority (LCRA) Drought Contingency Plan (DCP). However, Cedar Park water customers are encouraged to continue to use water wisely.

Effective immediately, the City of Cedar Park’s outdoor watering schedule is as follows:

Please continue to conserve water and use water wisely. There is still the possibility to return to one-day-per-week outdoor watering referred to Stage 3.**

NEW STAGE 2 OUTDOOR WATERING SCHEDULE:

  • ODD ADDRESSES may water on Wednesdays and/or Saturdays.
  • EVEN ADDRESSES may water on Thursdays and/or Sundays.
  • All commercial addresses including HOA’s water on TUESDAY and/or FRIDAY *Hand watering with a trigger nozzle is allowed anytime.*
