Notice Regarding Deed Restriction Enforcement

Approximately six weeks ago, the MUD announced the resumption of enforcement of District Deed Restrictions. During this period, residents were given the opportunity to correct any clear violations or to contact the MUD with reasons why compliance could not be achieved.

The MUD’s contractor has taken photos to document the conditions of the property.

We are now entering the next phase of enforcement. Residents whose violations remain uncorrected will be contacted directly. In cases where the resident is not the property owner, both the resident and the property owner will be notified.

Residents will be given the opportunity to explain any circumstances preventing compliance. If necessary, unresolved violations will be referred to the MUD’s Deed Enforcement attorney for further action.

Please note that Anderson Mill West has had deeds for more than 30 years. It represents one of the few tools available to residents to help preserve and enhance property values. Enforcement of deed restrictions is not intended to be punitive. It is simply a matter of ensuring adherence to the terms outlined in each property’s Deed of Trust.

We appreciate your cooperation. If you have questions or concerns regarding this matter, please do not hesitate to contact the MUD.
